Neurosyphillis

Does any healthcare professional have any information on this disease???  You never hear about it much except it's not that uncommon any more.  I hear more about it on TV, on the cop shows (i.e. criminial intent, SVU, without a trace, CSI, just to name a few) than in real life.  I want more information on this disease.  My grandmother has it and has been on exelon for four years (when we found out she had it).  Now her wonderful insurance doesn't want to pay for it any longer, so she was switched to Aricept.  This drug is failing her tremendously... I need any and all information any one has and how can we make them pay for it.  She didn't ask to contract this disease..??

I did do a web search and found on Medline Plus some info on this subject.
