I am not a nurse so I cannot say for sure. It depends. If he likes Disney world and you guys can cope with him by being with him 24 hours, then it may work out. If he trusts only your Mom, then she will need to comfort and coach him on the road. The other alternative is to get a respite service - a temporary stay in a nursing home or assisted live-in. It costs but it may be safer and you can check out the service also.   My father-in-law has stage 6 Alzheimer's so I kind of know what you mean.   Just my 2 cents. Nina
