Feeding tube

Is it a good idea to have feeding tube for a patient with severe stage of Alzheimer's? Although he is more alert now, he cannot walk/talk and he needs pureed food for everything and sometimes he needs to be fed. One day he will stop eating. Will hospice be better? He hates tubes or IVs. My…
