Hi Nina, He will likely fight going to assisted living or a nursing home, but so many like it after they adjust. Being alone all the time isn't good for anyone. And perhaps if he was with people of his own generation, he'd find some who could be a friend. That said, some people refuse to be social and, hard as it is to watch, there isn't much we can do about it. At least assisted living or a nursing home (depending on an evaluation) would give him a chance to do some things he many enjoy in spite of himself. Likely, he will have to make that move sooner or later, anyway. Carol
