Help with Husband and Wife - No kids to help

What options are there if a family member does not wish to step in and aid a father and mother with this condition? Son lives thousands of miles away and our family is large with kids, work and our own heath issues. Both of their conditions continue to get worse. Wife is worse. New Experiments

What is this I heard about a new experiment? It seems that there are always new experiements going on. This frustrates me. My grandfather has Alzheimer's disease. Suspicious

My mom is 81. She has always been very active and physically healthy, although she did have a stroke 6 years ago which she seems to have recovered from fully - physically any way. My Brother In Law

My Brother In law takes care of his wife 24 hours a day. He insist this is part of his Marriage vows. I do not see how he is doing it but he does. She is my twin I have offered many times to help out but he says No He can handle it.She forgets when she eats and forgets what she does. She does not register. We told him would it not be easier...
