My mother is paranoid that my sister is out to get her

My mother has "hallucinations and delusions" that my sister and her husband, that live more then 100 miles away, are steeling from her and  destroying her  property.  I have tried to  reason with her with no success.  I have  tried distracting her to focus on  other interests.  She continues to  come... Read moreChevron

a beginer at this

I am a beginer at having a loved one with this. I want to help her all I can. I need advise on many thing. She can not do the activities she used to do and needs something to fill her time? Is a person with alzheimer capeable of killing someone or causing bodily harm. My father in-law is a strong man. And i belive capeable of killing anyone whom he might think is doing harm to his dog.

3 family memebers diagnosed at the same time....

My grandmother was diagnosed at 80 and passed away in 2003 at 90. My father was diagnosed at 63 in 2001 but we think he was suffering as early as age 50. He passed away in 2006 a month before turning 68. My mother's father was diagnosed in 2004 and is still doing moderatly well today at age 83.
