Scared of memory loss

I am a 41 year old woman and I have noticed a recent increase in memory loss. I also sometimes have trouble finding words and will say a different word and immediately self correct myself. I am a semi retired RN. I was a charge nurse and Unit Manager on a Alzheimers unit in a long term care nursing facility. I now do the Alzheimer education for the caregivers. I would like to be helpful to others by sharing my knowledge and experience regarding Alzheimers Disease.

anasthesia and alzheimers

Hi, recently heard about the connection between alzheimers and the amount of time under anastesia. I am only 41, and have been under over 20 times, with many back surgeries 2 open hearts numerous knee and ankle. The last year or so i feel that i can actually loose thoughts as i am speaking.
