My dad and mom 83 and 80

My dad has AD and my mom takes care of him.  I live about an hour away.  I tried to get her to move next door to me and she refused.  Now the house is sold.  She is constantly calling me and I feel like I have to run every time she calls.  I feel guilty if I don't.  I want to be there for  her but it would be... Read moreChevron

He has always been a stickler for balancing his checkbook but now goes to the bank and needs help because it is too confusing.   ... Read moreChevron

Ashamed of my feelings

Hi,   I'm new and hope this post won't upset anyone.   My mother has always been a "me first" kind of person.  She loves to be the center of attention, and has always hated it if someone received some unexpected money or bought something new.   Anytime one of her children disagreed with her (there are 3 of us) she... Read moreChevron
