The long good bye or the daily hello

It is always startling to me when someone I know, even if only through some make believe roles in make believe movies, dies and has been prior to her/his death living with a diagnosis of Dementia , probably of this or that type. Who am I...

I retired from the BNSF Railway about 4 1/2 years ago after 38 1/2 years service, as did my brother, father, both grandfathers and one uncle. That marked 201 years of service on the railroad. How can I determine if it is "Hallucination"?

I've noticed for the last couple of months my husband stays up fairly late before going to bed. This past friday nite it was after 1am after I've worked a full day I cannot stay away. Friends & Alzheimer's

As much as I wanted to have my husband go to a facility during the day in the end I couldn't follow through. It's a wonderful place near our home and I know he would eventually really enjoy the company of others but right now he is so afraid to be away from me for any length of time.
