A new study suggests that race may play a part in how long Alzheimer's patients live. Researchers studied data on more than 31,000 men and women with Alzheimer's and found that black patients lived up to 40 percent longer and Hispanics lived up to 15 percent longer than white patients. The reason for the survival rate differences is still a mystery, experts say.
