Holiday chaos may prompt Alzheimer's patients to wander

According to the Alzheimer's Association, holiday chaos leads to an increase in the number of patients who wander away from home. During the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas 2007 there was a 31 percent increases in the number of calls to the association's national, 24-hour hot line for Alzheimer's patients who have wandered.
