Female caregivers face money, career woes

Experts say that traditionally women have carried the main burden when it comes to caring for aging relatives. In past decades this made more sense, since many women were full-time homemakers, researchers point out. But with most women working full-time outside the home now, many families cannot endure the loss of salary and career setbacks that comes with being a primary caregiver.
