Coffee may protect against dementia

A European study suggests that drinking coffee may protect you from Alzheimer's disease later in life. The study by Finnish and Swedish researchers followed 1,409 individuals age 65 to 79. During the 21 year follow-up, researchers found that those who drank "moderate" amounts of coffee--three to five cups per day--were 65 percent less likely to develop dementia than participants who did not drink coffee at all.   Read full story >
