Cost of Medicare drug plan to go up

(AJC.com) UPDATED 2009-08-14

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services say most Medicare drug plan recipients will see a slight increase their drug plan premiums in 2010. Officials say seniors will pay $30 a month for the stand-alone drug plans in 2010, an increase of $2 from this year. However, because premiums vary from plan to plan, drug plan recipients won't know their actual increase until more information becomes available in October. Read full story >
