Alzheimer's gene affects brains of young adults

Researchers say a gene variant linked to Alzheimer's disease affects the brain when people are young--earlier than previously thought. Scientists found that the brains of people in their 20s who had the APOE4 gene worked differently than those who didn't have the gene.
