A hormone that helps signal fullness after eating appears to be linked to the development of Alzheimer's, researchers say. The 12-year study of 200 people found that those with the lowest levels of leptin were much more likely to develop Alzheimer's disease than those who had higher levels. Researchers say this may be another clue that could help them discover the link between hormones, brain functions, body fat, and Alzheimer's.
