Don't Underestimate the Health Benefits of Singing: Experts

Researchers say there is increasing evidence to suggest that singing is good for your health. In fact, some experts say you may soon get a prescription for singing from your doctor--a trend in whole-health medicine that has also included art therapy and exercise therapy. Studies suggest that singing is beneficial for physical health, including people with Alzheimer's, asthma, and COPD, as well as for mental health, such as depression and anxiety.
