Brain MRI in January 2012. The neurologists reaction upon seeing films was: "Oh! You have chunks of your brain missing!" He went on to say he had not seen anything like it before. He was uncomfortable, and basically was ready for me and my husband to just leave his office. Since then an MD psychiatrist, and an anesthesiologist have looked at the MRI films, and said it was unlike anything they had seen. and that there was a definate problem, but said they didn't know what.
The radiologist did not mention the "missing " areas in the limited report that the other doctors zoned in on.
I have a CD of it, and am hoping to find interest in a more Diagnostician, curious, teacher type of excellent doctor, to help us. Main concern is, is this congenital, or an Ongoing problem now, something that has to be looked into
Soon? Am a slim, witty, artistic, interested in many things, basically attractive 59 year old. Husband is nuclear engineer. We are rather stunned by this.
thank you

Thank you for your question and welcome to HealthCentral's Anxiety Community.
Unfortunately, many of the "experts" on HealthCentral are patient experts, although there are a few doctors. Even so, we are not able to give out medical advice or provide a diagnosis over the internet.
I am sorry that I am not able to give you a better answer. I am not sure where you live, is it possible to go to a different medical practice, maybe one in a large city that would have access to a large amount of doctors?
