I have to admit, I didn't hear the National Anthem during the opening of the Super Bowl. But I did hear the talk about it on morning news shows and the radio during my drive to work this morning. One article on CBSNews.com suggested she might have suffered from stage fright, or performance anxiety. Although the writer admits he doesn't know what caused the missed words in the song, he says stage fright is one possible cause.
