Five New Year’s Goals for Anxiety Sufferers

These are all great gift giving ideas! It is an anxiety provoking time of year, more so than at any other time, though I do agonize over the other traditional gift-giving holidays and birthdays.

As you've said, I want to give the perfect gift, or at least one which won't be re-gifted! I never knew of such a thing until seeing an episode of Seinfeld where a label maker kept making the rounds of cast members. To my credit, I never bought anyone a label maker, but I more than made up for it with other gifts.

I make it a habit never to look for, or inquire too much after any gift I've given, just in case. :)  And I haven't gotten one back yet!

But this article has given me brand new ideas. I think the only other thing I could say, is what you have mentioned a number of times in other posts and that is the gift of your time. From running errands to visiting someone alone, as long as they like you and the visit doesn't add to their anxiety. :) It can help us feel needed and less anxious ourselves.

It is a gift I wouldn't mind being re-gifted.

Thanks for the ideas, I may use some of them!
