Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 08:08 AMaly, i am a 63 year old who spent most of her life living with panic attacks, fear, anxiety. about 6 years ago i sat down with my doctor with a long list of "stuff" that i had been dealing with all those years. he prescribed Lexapro and it has changed my life. it took awhile for it to work, but today i am a changed person. i don't think anything about driving to see my children in other states all by myself. as you can tell, i'm very proud of that fact. i would never have been brave enough to venture out along 10 years ago. i pray that you can find something to help you as i have. i would have been a much better mother, wife, daughter and friend if i had been on Lexapro, but alas, none was available at the time. God bless you and your family. janie petersre: Untitled Comment

Hello Aly
Seem's to me that you are in despair and looking for some answer's as many do, anxiety is one heck of a condition the good knews is that you are not alone feeling like this.
If I may ask a question, have ever consider therapy to help you cope with it, believe it or not it is possible but it aint easy, I think you should look in to it.
