Two week delay in Federal Govt. Shut down

By dewalt.17 Tuesday, March 08, 2011

I recieve a news letter by email from NAMI, that was one of the arcticles in the news letter.  This emergency spemding bill will be until 3/18/11.  Most of which includes medicare and medicaid, which are targeted for large cuts, as well as mental health.  Along with fuel prices, food ,and virtually everything....Any day now my boyfriend will lose his civil service job and go on unemployment, which in it's self is not reliable.  I am still waiting for my initial referrel to see a Neurologist, by my primary dr.

It's just becoming so over whelming everytime I go to the store or buy gas.  I just don't know what is becoming of our country.  I know in a previous post I indicated that we are all in this together, yet for the individual it is up to them on how they over come this recession.  Right now my thoughts are all over the place, concentration is very hard to do, to think clearly.

We have talked about selling his place and moving but I think for him it is just talk... for a year now.  I know where he would like to go, where his daughter and grand daughter live, if he does decide thats where he wants to be I don't think I do.  I would rather go south..Since thats the direction the country is headed...lol j/k.

So good to hear from you. I am sorry you are going through a difficult time right now. It is hard with the economy in such disarray, that's for sure. I just keep reminding myself that no matter how bad things seem to get, I am thankful every day that I live in the U.S. It is, to me, the best country in the world and I would rather live here than anywhere else.

Although our government officials seem to be fighting, I do believe, in the end, they will do the right thing for the country. We have been through tough times before and we are still here.

I hope things look up for you. Let's just wait and see what happens before getting upset about all the possibilities.

Eileen
