Hi all,
haven't been on here changed internet provider, was advised by my legal aid that I should re apply for disability. I contacted one of those injury lawyers to inquire about filing a law suit against a town in which I had my car wreck as the road is a hazard and I am having risidual effects such as vertigo. The staute of filing is 1yr. & 90 days to which has expired as well as I was informed that it is difficult to sue a municipality, although a friend of mine fell and broke her foot on an icy side walk. This was many yrs. ago but can't believe it is off limits.. I have been calling for a month to my primary dr. for a referral to a neurologist, the one they initially recommended doesn't accept medicaid as I have had to rely on since my accident. So I contacted my auto ins. co. and was told the case had been closed but when I go to a neurologist and the diagnosis is directly related to the accident it should be documented by the dr. and submitted, they will decide whether to pay.
I finally got an appt. to see a neurologist who does accept medicaid.

It is so nice to hear from you but sorry to hear that you are still going through such struggles in your life. Has your doctor indicated that the vertigo is something that will eventually go away or do they think that it will continue? It must be difficult to live with vertigo.
I am glad you found a doctor that will accept your medicaid and hopefully you didn't need to wait too long for an appointment.
As far suing the municipality, sorry I don't know anything about this. I have heard of people suing because of damage due to pot holes, etc. but don't know if anything ever came of it.
