Cousin going to Afghanistan

My cousin joined the U.S. Army some month's ago and has been sent to special training facilities.  He is just 19 yrs.old, while I admire and respect his choice his brother told me that he will be sent to Kuwait or Khandahar Afghanistan.  I can't even fathom the idea of what anguish his parents must feel.  When ever I watch the news and hear of more U.S. troops being killed my heart sinks.  Now knowing he will be there as well will always make me heart sick for his safety.
