Thank you.  There is so little information out there for spouses of anxiety sufferers. My biggest frustration with my wife is that even though she has acknowledged her anxiety to some degree, she is still reluctant to get help and she still doesn't recognize the full devastating effects of her anxiety on our family.  Just recently, she commented that her anxiety only hurts her but it doesn't have any other impact.  Actually, it affects every aspects of our life.  Our marriage is nearly destroyed because of her fight or flight response to every relationship problem.  She either attacks me or accuses me or she is emotionally and sexually distant.  Add to this her anger with me for many perceived wrongs, deep lack of trust.  Her inability to get a job commensurate with her skills and education.  Her lack of time management skills.  Inability to prioritize tasks, repetitive and inefficient execution of her daily tasks.  Flight and driving avoidance.  Everyone has to tiptoe around her.  Paranoid about cleanliness and identity theft.  Very irritable.  Yet she claims her anxiety is mild and manageable.  She agreed to see a therapist a month ago but for some reason she hasn't been able to pick a therapist.  I am exhausted living with someone like this.  My mental health is at stake.  I haven't been happy in years.  Is it my job in this life just to be a supportive husband but not get any of the benefits of a person in a normal marriage?
