Withdrawing from Effexor - My story

By Meg Monday, April 02, 2012

"The End of an Era" is a blog post about my personal story dealing with antidepressants. I found solace in reading others during my withdrawal so I thought I would share. The link to my blog is: http://wadersgonnawade.blogspot.com/ the post is titled: "The End of an Era"

I went to your blog today and saw that you have taken down your personal story of dealing with depression and I respect your choice and understand why you feel this may interfere with your ability to get a job or could impact how others view you in your personal life as well as in the workplace. You are right, society doesn't yet deal with depression and many people find this a difficult topic to discuss, even though so many people struggle with this on a daily basis.

I applaud you for wanting to spread the word about depression and know that, even if you do not blog about it, you will continue - maybe one person at a time - to try to change some of the misconceptions about depression you see around you.

I wish you the best. I hope all works out well for you.

Eileen
