Accepting anxiety depends on the type of anxiety you have. If it is unoticable to others such as fear of driving on a certain street or a fear of dying it can be hidden easier. Try a fear of losing control of bodily functions such as diarrhea and passing gas with a horrible smell. Its embarrassing, shamefull, and dibilitating. Not at all excepted or talked about by society. How do you live with that type of anxiety and function in situations such as work, relationships, etc. Sure you can laugh at it but how many people think its funny when they there next to someone who passes the smelly gas?
