Hi Davek,
I am not a doctor, but from experience and reading, antidepressants like Zoloft and Prozac are often used to treat anxiety. Sometimes medication that lowers blood-pressure is used to treat the physical symptoms of anxiety. There is a lot out there, and you can look it up on this website under "Find" "drug information."
Cognitive therapy is also used in treatment, as well as breathing exercises and meditation.
