Can Panic Attacks happen to someone who is Bipolar in periods of mania but not when they out of the manic phase? Or would this not be considered a subset?

Thanks for your question. Anyone (everyone) has the potential to panic so the fact you have bipolar is incidental to this. To my knowledge the incidence of panic is no more or less in the population of people with bipolar than any other.
