Anxiety, "Interpreaction," and "Interpreversal": A Mind Game You Can Win

By hopeandhealing Sunday, September 13, 2009

You know, since we've suffered for so long, we're so used to blindly receiving and accepting all of the negative and destructive little gems our minds and bodies throw our way. Well, I believe it's time we stood up for ourselves and fought back. Don't you agree?

Surely, if faulty interpretation can so easily generate disasters, why can't reasoned and accurate interpretation flip things around? Well it can. And we have the authority and ability to make it all happen.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It is so important to understand that we can control our negative and positive thoughts. It is hard and takes much practice.

That is not to say that anxiety is not also a mental disorder and treatments such as medication and therapy do not also have their place.

Thanks again.

Well, thanks Eileen. Absolutely, anxiety is a very legitimate mental/emotional disorder that merits the consideration of a variety of treatments. Actually, this whole interpreaction/interpreversal business would be under the umbrella of a cognitive therapy.
