Working towards a goal.

By looking4something Saturday, April 19, 2008

I'm working on my computer skills which I have been working on for about 5 months now. So far, I've made some great progress and I got in 5 hours of study/class work today! Fortunately, I have free access to all of the programs I'm studying right now and can do them at my own pace without the stress of actual school. Although, I don't mind going to school or I wouldn't have spent 5 and 1/2 yrs in college! Tongue out The sad part is that's not counting my education as a Licensed Massage Therapist. lol I think deep down I must really enjoy studying. Anyway, I do love to learn new things all the time. I finally got motivated to go walking a few days ago and this week I am starting a regular exercise routine. One thing I'm pretty excited about is the fact that I'm finally getting my dance pole put up which was a Christmas gift! I think it will be a great way to stay in shape or in my case get in shape!!! I have a closet of clothes just waiting for me to fit into them again. My goal is to lose 15 lbs. My normal weight is between 110 to 115 but right now I'm 130 which sucks cause I'm very small framed and only 5'1. I don't think it will take long once I get started again. After several med changes as well as having hypothyroidism my body put on some extra baggage! I have a wonderful boyfriend who is very supportive which helps so much. He's definitely seen me at close to my worst, and he's still here so that's a good thing! He's awesome. It's so different going from my ex husband who wasn't really supportive to my boyfriend now who is totally there for me and has been for a while now. What an extreme difference. I'm just really trying to keep a positive attitude and work on some issues that I need to get through. One step at a time. That's all anyone can do. I'm glad that I found this site and been able to read posts from others that really has made a difference in my life. I'm thankful for that. Today's been a good day and I've gotten some things accomplished that I've been wanting to get done.

Until next time...
