Wife to a spouse with bipolar, severe anxiety, moos wings, brain cyst & depression

Every day is different you never know how it's going to be. My husband suffers from bipolar, severe anxiety, mood swings & depression. We've been married for 9 years and together for over 14 years now; the past two in a half years have been a complete drastic change in life. We have four children...

Hello & welcome to the site

Living with a persom who as severe anxiety can be to say the least very overwhelming, by your writings I see that you and your husband are going trough some very difficult times and its hard to have some objectivity on the situation at hand.

I would gather that your husband as the medical attention and follow ups that one needs when face with these conditions, but what about you to often the spouse's are left  to ''deal'' cope on there own, have you tought about your person and how to stay healthy both physicaly & mentally, what you say is very true familly's often dont or wont try to understand the problem so you find yourself alone facing all of this with no or littlle help...but you have needs to that need to be taken care of also...if you want to stay healthy.

So if we consider this know that your not alone that is coping on a daily basis with this type of situation and help is available should it be with a psychologist or community support group or and a therapist of your own, you as a person in my view need to address your needs, its all to easy to focus our attention on the person who as the disorders and one loose's track of there own health, so I understand your cry for help...really I do.

So what I would suggest to you is to take under serious conideration what I have mention above you can only do so much and ypou have limits like evrybody else and I suggest that you dont go over them that would be detrimental to the both of you.

Make a appointment for yourself and see what help is available for your person in my point of its essential.

Hope that these words find you well

    Suffolk
