I HATE when people just tell you to "get over" anxiety, or just group all mental illnesses as things that aren't really medical conditions. They think just because there are no immediately apparent physical symptoms that they don't count. I hope eventually everyone can understand how much pain and anguish people with anxiety go through and how it just compounds when they are told to "get over it."

I agree that it's very frustrating when people think we can just ignore our anxiety and get on with our lives. They should walk in our shoes, first!
