What does anxiety to selfesteem

Well talking of my own experience if left untreated it can cause damage to one self image, by untreated I mean if someone doesnt reach out to others and have a active lifestyle, anxiety can be overwhelming, having a healthy and active lifestyle often people think that it is expensive but its not not, its all a question of how much your willing to invest in yourself.

Look at it this way if one goes to work one day a week well...the next thursday that  person will have a one day pay check right ? Well the same goes in managing our anxiety (recovery) making new friends in a support group is excellant (0.00$) going for long walks with or without company (0.00$) going to have a coffee and make small talk with people (2.00$) going to the library how long as it been since you went ? (0.00 $) getting involved in your community or churh (0.00 $).

I guess your getting the point I'm trying to make, no its not always easy but I persist in saying that one get out what he or she puts in, its easy for a person who struggles with anxiety to make up reason not to lend themselfs to a pro-active way to cope.

I say this without judgment because I was the first to stay in the ''comfort'' of my home, till I tried what was suggested to me and much to my surprise, before long I was getting more active...now dont get me wrong here my life is far from perfect...but what use to be a major effort on my part is now things that I look forward doing.

To all of you out there who lives with it, I would like to ear from you.
