- Look honestly at your shortcomings so you can work on them, but focusing on your strengths can never hurt.

- Look at your failures like learning experiences and important steps toward your next success.

The more you practice challenging your thought patterns, the more automatic it'll become.

Thanks for sharing this. I think it would be interesting to hear from people and see whether they view themselves as an optimist or pessimist based on this information.

I think I would be considered an optimist. What about you?

Hello Eileen

Undeniably a Optimist...but there was a time when it wasnt the case further more I would say that  my personnality change over the years, as I gets older I tend to see life in a different light, even tough they are hurdles.

One main thing is to not sweat the small stuff like waiting in line or driving in traffic for example I became I think more patient not wanting to spend energy on trivial things...sometimes its easier and other times well....thats the way the cookie crumbles.

The main thing is to concentrate on a quality of life that suits me and by doing so I think it reflects on others, not with words but in the way I conduct myself towards others.

That as become very important for me.

I guess in the end it bowls down to how do we want to be remembered.

Have a Good One
