Hello Amy how are you doing ?
Glad to see that your still with us, I enjoyed your post finding that all of it is true well...almost
just a small critic I'm shure you can deal with that lol.
A good therapist will not show you sympathie more then likely he or she will show empathie, you may find that I am playing with words but the difference is worth noting for to be a good therapist in my oppinion one must not fall in your shoes and always stay objective.

I think a good therapist can show both actually, and I do clearly believe that each "emotion" has a place in the health professional to patient relationship - especially when the relationship lasts for more extended periods of times.
This might be one where we have to "agree to disagree" just a bit.
