I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montana in 1974. Since 1978 I have been on the faculty of UCLA in the Department of Psychiatry where I am currently a Clinical Professor. At UCLA I teach cognitive behavioral therapy to psychiatry residents and psychology interns. I was the Director of Psychological Services at the UCLA OCD Program from 1994 -2006. In 1986 I established the Center For Anxiety Management, an outpatient private practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders. I was awarded a Diplomate in Behavioral Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2000.
