Sadness and mourning are certainly products of hardship and adversity. But I believe that a great deal of anxiety emanated from our own uncertainty about how we are going to handle any imminent hardships, choices, or decisions in our lives. Don't forget that choice, whether large or small, always introduces some element of uncertainty. This can lead to anxiety. I would like to continue on this topic of the relationship between uncertainty and anxiety. In the meantime, try to peel the curtain back and ask yourself: why am I being so anxious? As always, if your anxiety impinges on your ability to function, seek professional help.
