I can't understand why I wake up in the middle of the night (last night at around 1 a.m.) to find that I'm in a cold sweat and feeling like life is crashing in on me. Yes, I am being downsized out of my job, but I have six months pay w/ benefits as a severance. I'll find a job. But ...

panic attacks and anxiety

I think the stomach pain comes from anxiety.I know that,because I to get knots in my stomach and xanax helps that. I try not to overdo on the Xanax,but it does help me relax. I don't have panic attacks,but have anxiety when I can't find things and then get relief when I find them. Its very hard to know what to do when this happens. I hope your med's help and let me know how it goes with the xanax.
