What was most remarkable about yesterday was how many people believed, some for the first time, that their vote mattered, that it was indeed essential, that our government really works when we are an involved and passionate electorate. The experience of so many Americans working together to change the political landscape should serve as a reminder to us all how powerful democracy truly is--we all have the power to shape the government in our image, to draw from our ranks and support leaders who hopefully inspire all of us with wisdom and integrity. And I agree that is something we all can believe in.

Yes, I agree it is essential for Americans to join together. To use the famous quote- "Be the change you want to see" resonates in every aspect of our life. Every little ripple leads to a cumulative effect for our self and our nation.
