Barium Swallow

Has anyone had the barium swallow? My doctor scheduled an appointment for that but I cancelled it. I do not understand why they want to take a person who is having trouble swallowing, and make them swallow something that even BigFoot couldn't swallow. Just want to be normal and calm

Hi I am 39 and have been living with anxiety for years...only recently diagnosed with it. I take lexepro 10mg 1x daily and xanax when needed.....which is and interesting because it feels like I could need it all the time... but I dont. Agoraphobia, panic attacks...

Though the support group that I used to run on occasion, I had guest speakers. One was a person who had two battles with agoraphobia, where they could not leave their home.
