Medication
Therapy is the primary treatment for anxiety. However, if therapy is not working to fully alleviate your symptoms, medications may be used to help. There are four main types of medications used to treat anxiety and several less common types as well. Keep in mind that a doctor should always be consulted before starting or stopping medications to find what is best for you.
