One type of therapy used to treat anxiety is talk therapy. This is when someone with an anxiety disorder talks about their anxiety, fear, stress or whatever is bothering them to a therapist or a group of people with their own anxieties. The idea is to express and discuss the thoughts and feelings behind the anxiety so they can be overcome. Talk therapy is a chance to express yourself and learn from others.
