Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Central's Anxiety Community.
I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.
Benzodiazepines do pass into your breast milk but I am not certain how long that would occur. It is impossible to say with any certainty how long a medication will stay in your system. This is dependent on many factors including how long you have been taking the medication, your dosage, your metabolism and even what you eat and drink.
If you are taking this medication and are breastfeeding, you should consult with your doctor. He or she would be better able to advise you.
We hope you find this general health information helpful. Please note however, that this Q&A is meant to support not replace the professional medical advice you receive from your doctor.
