I don't believe there is a specific name for PTSD and Bipolar other than being called "comorbid" or "co-existing conditions." This means that each condition is a separate condition but that they can both exist alongside each other.

Can you tell us how you are treating your Bipolar Disorder and PTSD? I am sure other members would like to hear how you manage these two disorders. I believe that PTSD can co-occur with many other mental illnesses and mood disorders as Eileen has mentioned.
