That's amazing. My doctor actually prescribed me Metoprolol FOR anxiety. I get so few anxiety attacks, and I asked for something that wouldn't make me woozy (like xanax or clonopin). He said since the symptoms of anxiety are like the symptoms of high blood pressure (palpitations, shortness of breath, etc.) that I should try taking one half of a small dose of Metoprolol. It actually works, for me, without making me tired or loopy. I don't know, though. I maintain a low blood pressure, and anything from caffeine to giving a speech in class makes my blood pressure go up, resulting in an anxious feeling. We're all different people so yeah: I'd ask my doctor about that.
