Q: Can Buspar augment my celexa for Generalized Anxiety Disorder

I have a question can buspar really agument the effects of celexa for my anxiety? Is taking buspar with an SSRI a good option if you are at a plateau in your treatment for generalized anxiety disorder compared to taking only a SSRI to treat your anxiety?

It would be impossible for me to say if a different medication would work better for you. Different people react differently to medications and many times it is a matter of trial and error to find the right medication and the right dose to work for you.

It would be best for you to contact your doctor to discuss your concerns. He or she would be best able to determine if you should try a different medication.
