Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

You should not stop taking Cymbalta suddenly and should always stop under the supervision of your doctor. Stopping suddenly can cause symptoms of withdrawal, such as:

  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Headaches
  • Vomiting
  • Irritability
  • Nightmares
  •

If you would like to discontinue taking Cymbalta, talk with your doctor about the best way to do this.

I am currently taking cymbalta 30 mg.. and i've been on it for about 6 months and now trying to get off of it. The withdrawl side effects are horrible I can't go four days with out feeling sick, dizzness, sweating, disorinated, can't sleep and horrible headaches. I am trying to stop it all together and it's impossible.
