should I just quit effexor Xr to start my lexapro. The effexor is not working.
My Doctor has put me on Lexapro now to try it I have been on Effexor Xr for about 2 1/2 years so I want to know if I should tapper off it or just stop it

taper off then start the Lexapro...Keep a journal how you are feeling so you can document any side effects of withdrawals of effexor Xr.....Keep close tabs with your doctor with this medication change.

i switched once from Prozac to Zoloft to Paxil that transition wasn't very easy for me. But, Paxil works for me. Take care,
