TK - Epilepsy is, as you know, complex and serious. Your neurologist should always be consulted when you start a new medication in order to avoid the type of problem you just experienced. You should also ask your pharmacist to research the drug interactions and side effects for you before starting a new medication. Since you were trying to stop smoking you should also be aware that Wellbutrin (Bupropion, Xyban), which is sometimes used to help with smoking cessation may cause seizures in people who suffer from seizure disorder.   Rick Wirtz Licensed Psychologist
